Slushie Love – Day 39

It was a steamy Sunday morning so we decided to check out another market. After a bit of mis-calculation and misunderstanding (Ray’s fault) we were heading for a market that was held yesterday and lost Chris and Vicki who were following us, in the process. After some “Googling” and with the assistance of our GPS, we made it to the Rapid Creek Market. People here are very big on locally grown fruit and vegetables, Asian style. We saw a huge variety but bought none. We came across a slushie machine of mega proportions. 12 flavours to choose from and you could even have each and every flavour if you could fit them all in your cup. Great for the kids on a steamy hot morning. They loved it!
We decided to take the kids to an oval so they could ride their bikes. Harry wanted his training wheels taken off and Caleb needed to get back on his bike after adamantly refusing to ever ride again. On the way in the car Caleb asked for the mirror and watched himself singing ” Coward Of The County” in it. The facial expressions were priceless.
After an afternoon swim, the kids kept us entertained with a length of rope tying each other and Ray up and then pushing him over.
The boys are off on a fishing charter trip tomorrow so we are looking forward to fish for dinner tomorrow night. (Hmmmmm)….
