Hello Melbourne-Days 134, 135, 136

We are experiencing the most amazing adventure of our lives, each day we are thankful that we are able to travel this journey together as a family. As wonderful as our journey is, there are other people we know and love who are also having their own life journeys. We came to a decision that will surprise you, heck it surprised us.
Some important things were happening at home.
1. We were feeling like very deprived Grandparents, not having met our new grandson, Ryder, since his birth. (Even my mother had sent me gloating photos of her enjoying MY cuddles).
2. My own Nanna was turning 90 years old and a function had been organised to celebrate this amazing milestone.
3. Ray’s Dad had given us all a little scare over the past few weeks and had spent some time in hospital, his health wasn’t good.
4. Considering we have been on the road for 4 months and my mum and dad had their own 5 month adventure before we left, in effect, we haven’t seen them for 9 months.
We were feeling the tyranny of distance. We made a decision. We didn’t tell anyone, even Caleb – who came with us of course.

We flew to Melbourne!
