Mmm…ildura! – Day 168

This morning began much like yesterday apart from the fact that I managed to shower prior to lunchtime.

We caught up with Noelene and Russell again for a coffee in the morning which quickly turned into lunchtime. We are so good at having this happen and it is just so decadent.
We were all seriously debating whether we should move on as planned or stay for another night. The lack of enough water to wash our filthy hair cinched the deal and we quickly packed up even though it was well into the afternoon.

We said our goodbyes and with real regrets, we went our opposite ways. We only had a couple of hours drive to Mildura which wasn’t a big deal so we were quite content to be on the road in the late afternoon. By the time Caleb did his lessons in the back seat, we were there!  We realised that we were now in our home state of Victoria. Although it is situated in the northwest of Victoria, it stretches across the Murray River into New South Wales.

As we pulled into the caravan park Caleb sighed from the back seat ” I really wish Noelene and Russell were here”. He was missing them too.
We were so pleased that the park looks lovely. Large shaded sites and we are practically in the river. The view is lovely. Two nights, perhaps a couple more….
