Wet, Wild & Wonderful -Day 204

It was time for another theme park.

Today we decided on Wet and Wild. It is a paradise of slippery waterslides, wave pools, lagoon style rivers and many other water features too numerous to mention.
Caleb had been really excited about going here since he spotted it next to Movie World and so today was the day.
The weather looked good so we packed a picnic and off we went. Not much of a water person myself (especially when it’s cold water) I bought 2 magazines on the way and was thrilled to be able to read them while basking in the sun, all by myself.

Caleb kept returning to where I was based telling me I just had to have a turn on something because I wasn’t having any fun. What I was having was absolute bliss! “Run away and play with your dad and leave me here on my own!”
Ray and Caleb reported that the lines for the attractions weren’t too long and they happily played together. I realise that I am so fortunate to have a husband who is just a big kid. (I must remind myself of that when Caleb and Ray get up to their annoyingly childish antics in the supermarket).
So, I had a lovely relaxing day, Caleb had a ball and Ray reported a fun day too. Perhaps we will return again before we move off because Wet and Wild on the Gold Coast certainly delivered the goods for each of us.
(No photos to show as I left the camera at the van due to the fear of so much water and the potential to ruin it.)
