The order of our day:
We woke
We walked
We ate
We read
We played
We are living the eternal holiday dream!
The morning began with washing.
We managed to break one machine before we had to unload our dirties and move to another machine. We kissed an extra $2 goodbye for the privilege. Ray researched online to find a new battery for the car and then went to pick it up.
Caleb and I completed schoolwork and he took off again to find his “friends “. These are new kids everyday so he doesn’t even ask their names anymore. He just joins in with whatever they are doing. This morning he returned, grabbed his tennis racquet and hustled in on a game a dad from Germany was playing with his two kids. They could speak very little English so if they didn’t want him to play, he didn’t get the message.
Ray changed the car battery successfully and we sat in the sun and planned our trip from here to Airlie Beach. We will have about 2 weeks before our VIPs arrive from Melbourne to stay with us in Airlie Beach so we think we will head inland for a change of pace til then. We leave here on Tuesday.
The day was beautiful so we shifted our chairs into the sun and simply enjoyed it. Caleb went for a swim and the day turned into night.
Feeling a little indulged presently and I think we are itching to get moving and onto the next adventure.
