The cleaning frenzy continued today with the car. We spent the morning cleaning the inside of the car which is very time consuming without a vacuum. It was just getting to the outside washing stage which we decided to go to the local car wash to do. Bit firs we decided to have lunch.
I made the usual sandwiches for the boys and soft boiled egg for me. After finishing, we jumped in the car to head to the car wash. Then it happened.
Caleb has been suffering from bad stomach pains after eating for a while now. These pains make him shake all over and feel as if he is going to faint.
We think he has a food intolerance and as a precaution we have tried to cut a lot of gluten out of his diet until we can have someone take a look at him.
Up until now it seemed to be working, only flaring up if we forgot or couldn’t get food that was gluten free.
Although, we couldn’t put our finger on what had caused this latest bout as we were about to reach the car wash.
We had to return to the van where we spent the next 4 1/2 hours trying to make him feel better. Feeling unwell is bad enough but it becomes worse when everyone around you can hear what is going on and stop by to see if they can help.
Invariably we would get talking to these impromptu visitors and poor Caleb had to keep struggling with his sickness, minus the attention from us.
Ray visited the pharmacy and the afternoon turned into the night. The pains turned into a raging sore throat and the whimpers lessened as Caleb finally went to sleep with the help of some Nurofen and throat spray.
A visit to the doctor (our first in 11months) is quite possibly on the cards tomorrow.
