Nothing Goes – Day 42

Chris flew out of Darwin at midnight last night, bound for Melbourne. A few work related issues had arisen which he needed to attend to. We have had no choice but to stay here a few days longer, with plans to lounge by the pool, sleep in and take it easy until he returns. It’s a hard life.
We spent the day…ummm doing nothing. A bit of grocery shopping and a lot of lounging. The kids got out their light sabers and perfected their Star Wars moves and we spent some time sheltering from the tropical storm. It was a nice treat to catch up on a bit of telly, read a book and play checkers. We dropped our car off for an air conditioning service as it was leaking water onto my feet. The repair man, after fixing it and re gassing it said that I will need to wear a coat in the car from now on it will be that cold. Bring it on! Another relaxing day tomorrow. Ray has booked the car in for a service so at least we have something constructive to do on the holiday calendar.
Vicki and I have decided that we need to watch all the Twilight movies in anticipation of the Breaking Dawn Part 2 movie which we will see when we hit Broome in Western Australia. Looking forward to turning one of our caravans into a cinema, popping some popcorn and whiling away a few hours with ‘Edward the Vampire’.
